Toulouse and its region, Midi-Pyrénées, are the overall leaders among French regions for their R&D activity. This activity is strongly oriented toward high technology with the aeronautics and space sectors but also electronics, communication devices and automotive.
Conference venue, LAAS-CNRS
Situated in the heart of the university campus, at 15 minutes from Toulouse center (by subway) the LAAS-CNRS laboratory site is an ideal venue. One of the biggest labs of CNRS (700 pers.), LAAS-CNRS research activities cover various topics including crucial computing, robotics, networks and communications. The LAAS has its own conference rooms, and also several meeting rooms all equipped. Easy access from airport Toulouse-Blagnac 25 minutes with taxi, or from Toulouse-centre it is 15 minutes with subway (Toulouse-centre is at 20 minutes from airport by Bus).
